Step One: Getting your books
You have two options:
- Visit the NWTC Bookstore in Green Bay on the first floor of the Student Center during our regular business hours. Click here for hours.
- Order your books online – click here for instructions. When you order your books, you can choose to pick them up at any of NWTC’s locations at no charge. If you prefer to have them shipped to you, there is a charge of $7.00 for the first item and $1.00 for each additional item.
Step Two: Paying for your books
- If you are visiting us in the Green Bay Bookstore, please tell the Bookstore team member helping you that you are sponsored by an agency.
- If you are placing an order online:
- Please choose ‘Textbook Charge Program’ as your payment method at checkout
- Also add Agency Sponsored in the customer notes field. If the Bookstore Team hasn’t received your voucher from your Agency, your order will be cancelled and you will need to submit another order once the voucher has been submitted.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What does my agency pay for?
The items specified on the voucher that is submitted by your counselor. Please consult with your counselor for specifics.
Can the NWTC Bookstore bill my agency without a voucher?
The voucher is required prior to the transaction or online order. It is a good idea to bring a copy of the voucher with you if you are visiting in person. If you are placing an online order and are unsure as to whether your voucher has been received at the NWTC Bookstore, please call 920-498-5407 to speak to one of our team members.
Why is there a Bookstore charge on my student account?
- If you are enrolled in more classes than your agency is sponsoring, the charges for those class materials will be added to your student account when the Textbook Charge Program is used in person at the Bookstore or online.
- If the Bookstore Team had not yet received your voucher and we were not made aware at the time of purchase or in the customer notes that you are agency sponsored, the charge will flow to your student account if Textbook Charge Program is used as the payment method.
Who can pick up my books?
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act requires the student signature to authorize the charge. Family members, spouses, or friends are not authorized to sign for the charge to any Agencies or your student account. If you are unable to visit the NWTC Bookstore in person and are having someone pick up the books for you, please place an online order ahead of time. The electronic signature associated with your online order will fill the requirements.
